Microstation Technician
The majority of work product is prepared in Microstation®. Skill and experience in Microstation are a great start to a career at H&L, but we are prepared to teach Microstation to experienced users of AutoCAD, if appropriate. Opportunities exist for all experience and skill levels, from beginner (Category TI) to veteran (Category TIII). Our technician staff works on a variety of projects.
Engineering Civil/Site
Engineering opportunities in Civil/Site are available for Categories EI (new graduate) to EIV (recent PE status). Your work may include site plans, storm water detention plans, grading and drainage, hydraulics and hydrology, permitting, erosion control, earth retaining structures, water and sewer, and utility relocation.
Engineering Water Resources/Environmental
Engineering opportunities in water resources and environmental design are available for categories EI (new graduate) to EIV (recent PE status). Your work may include design and contract document preparation for water line, sewer line, pump station, water and wastewater treatment, stormwater management and flood study projects.
Engineering Transportation
Engineering opportunities in Transportation are available for Categories EI (new graduate) to EIV (recent PE status) and EV (Project Engineer). Your work in transportation may cover all aspects of highway design, including grade separation projects, as well as sidewalk and streetscape enhancement projects.
Engineering Railroad
With railroad engineering in your resume, you will find employment opportunities at all Engineering Categories. Work may include track and/or bridge design plans.
Engineering Bridges
Our Bridge Department seeks additional staff at all engineering categories to augment our bridge design and construction engineering expertise.
