Matt Calak, PE

I am an Auburn fan and a civil engineer, in that order. I’m originally from upstate New York and graduated from Auburn University. I joined H&L after graduation, and I’ve been involved in a variety of transportation infrastructure projects. As Head of the Roadway Department, I oversee many different types of projects – roundabouts, widenings, intersections, and arterial type jobs to name a few – all while monitoring the quality of work the department produces. When I’m not at work, I enjoy spending time with my wife, Vicki, and our two daughters.
